Khaberni - Irbid Electricity Company completed the installation of 129,304 new lighting units using energy-saving (LED) technology, in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources and the municipalities of Irbid Governorate.
The company's spokesperson, Yaser Al-Rawabdeh, said that the project aims to improve street lighting levels and reduce electricity consumption, which contributes to enhancing the efficiency of public lighting services and reducing the financial burdens on municipalities.
Al-Rawabdeh explained that the implementation included the city of Irbid and most of its towns and districts, emphasizing that this step is part of the company's efforts to expand the use of energy-saving systems and enhance the sustainability of services provided to citizens.
