Khaberni - The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed that a senior Qatari official was present during the "apology call" at the White House.
According to the Israeli newspaper "Yedioth Ahronoth," "during the apology call between Netanyahu and the Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, which took place last Monday in the Oval Office of the White House, a high-level Qatari official was also present."
The newspaper added: "This official is Ali Al-Dhwadi, a high-ranking diplomat in Qatar, who holds the powers of a minister."
However, the newspaper reported from the Israeli Prime Minister's office that it confirmed "only Al-Dhwadi's presence during the phone call" and denied a meeting with Netanyahu.
