Khaberni - The national football team has begun its technical and physical training in the city of Izmit, Turkey, in preparation for a friendly match against Bolivia at 7:00 PM on Friday, October 10, in preparation for participating in the Arab FIFA Cup 2025, and the 2026 World Cup finals.
The team conducted its training on Thursday evening, October 2, under the guidance of coach Jamal Salami, with the participation of 18 players from the squad list, waiting for the ranks to be completed progressively.
On the other hand, player Yazan Al-Arab was excluded from the Nashama squad to give him the necessary medical rest, after the medical examinations he underwent immediately upon his arrival from South Korea revealed an injury in his adductor muscle.
The team's squad now includes 29 players: Yazid Abu Layla, Noor Bani Atiyah, Malik Shellabia, Abdullah Naseeb, Yousef Abu Al-Jazar, Mohammad Abu Nadir, Hadi Al-Hourani, Salim Abeid, Saad Al-Rousan, Mohannad Abu Taha, Mohammad Abu Hashish, Ali Hejbi, Adham Al-Quraishi, Issam Al-Sameri, Nizar Al-Rashdan, Ibrahim Sa'adeh, Noor Al-Rawabdeh, Amer Jamous, Ahmad Al-Salman, Musa Al-Taamari, Mahmoud Mardhi, Ali Allwan, Ali Ezaiza, Mohammad Abu Zuraik, Odeh Al-Fakhouri, Abdullah Awad, Rizk Bani Hani, Ibrahim Sabra, and Yazan Naimat.
The national team is expected to head to the Albanian capital, Tirana, on Saturday, October 11, to face the hosts on Tuesday, October 14.
The Jordan Football Association aims to achieve the highest levels of preparation and support for the Nashama by providing training camps and friendly matches in preparation for participation in the Arab FIFA Cup 2025 in Qatar, and the World Cup 2026 competitions in America, Canada, and Mexico.
It is noted that the Nashama team has secured its qualification to the 2026 World Cup finals for the first time in its history, thus becoming the first Arab team to secure its place in the World Cup.
