Emergency Landing for a Flight to Egypt Due to a Drunk Woman

Khaberni - The behavior of a drunk passenger forced a passenger plane, which was headed from Britain to Egypt, to make an emergency landing on the island of Crete in Greece on Wednesday.

The British newspaper "Daily Mail" reported on Thursday that a 38-year-old British woman turned the flight to Egypt "upside down" due to the influence of alcohol.

The passenger was traveling with her husband and child, and passengers said she was "heavily intoxicated and ignored the crew's instructions."

The passengers described the woman's behavior as "aggressive" and "out of control," leaving the crew no choice but to alert the captain.

Subsequently, the captain of the plane requested permission for an emergency landing at Heraklion airport on the Greek island of Crete, for safety reasons.

After the plane landed, police officers detained the woman, and she was taken to the authorities for investigation into her behavior.

Recently, there has been an increase in the number of flights forced to change their course or stop due to drunk passengers, according to the newspaper.
