Khaberni - The Ajloun Water Directorate has issued a tender for the replacement of water networks and transmission lines and the rehabilitation of Ain Jana Water Station and Rasoon Station, valued at 3 million dinars, funded by an American grant, according to Malik Rashdan, the director of water in Ajloun.
Rashdan said that the tenders included the replacement of the (Triangles) network in Abin, Sakra, Ras Munif, and Sanaar, and the replacement of the transmission line from Zaqiq to Ishtafina, with a length of 12 kilometers, noting that the lines to be replaced are worn out and old.
He added that the network in the Ras Munif area would also be completely replaced, and the Ain Jana Station and Rasoon Station would be rehabilitated.
Rashdan also mentioned that the directorate has completed the replacement of about 15,000 old water meters with new water meters within the governorate.
