Khaberni - Today, Thursday, the Iraqi border forces thwarted an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of drugs via a balloon on the border strip, just two days after foiling a similar attempt using the same method.
The command of the forces reported that the operation resulted in the seizure of 80,000 drug pills that were placed inside small bags prepared for smuggling, affirming that repeated smuggling attempts will not succeed in breaching the border surveillance system.
