Khaberni - Organizers in the "Global Steadfastness Fleet" reported that the ship "Shireen Abu Akleh" is now only 40 nautical miles (approximately 74 kilometers) away from the coasts of the Gaza Strip.
This ship has a special symbolic importance, as it bears the name of the Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, who was killed by Israeli occupation army bullets in 2022.
According to organizers, the ship carries a number of international journalists and parliamentary figures aiming to break the media blackout on Gaza.

The ship "Shireen Abu Akleh" is now at the forefront of the group of ships that have so far managed to avoid the occupation's interception operations and continues its steady progress towards its goal.
What's next?

The peak of confrontation: Entering the distance of 40 miles means that it is now very close to the direct operational range of the Israeli navy, which increases the likelihood of an imminent interception attempt.

Focus of Tel Aviv: It is expected that the Israeli navy will focus its efforts on preventing this symbolic ship from making any further progress.

International attention: The media and international human rights organizations are now focused on the fate of this ship, given the humanitarian and media implications it carries.

Communications: Organizers fear that communication with the ship may be cut off as it approaches closer, as happened with other intercepted ships.
