Khaberni - Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas valued Jordan's statements supporting Palestinian rights, ending the war, stopping annexation, and preventing displacement, according to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA).
Abbas praised the stances of His Majesty King Abdullah II supporting the Palestinian people and their legitimate rights.
He also lauded the statements in which Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi expressed his country’s welcome of American President Donald Trump’s efforts to stop the war and prevent the annexation of the West Bank.
He emphasized that it is essential for all efforts to be united to stop the Israeli aggression on Gaza, end the famine, and to launch a genuine effort to achieve a just peace based on the two-state solution in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
Abbas considered these statements to express and align with the Palestinian position and the stances of all countries in the world that seek to end the war, and to establish peace in our region and the world.
