Khaberni - The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights disclosed today, Wednesday, that the ousted Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, was discharged yesterday morning, "Monday," from a hospital in the suburbs of the Russian capital, Moscow, and his health condition is stable.
The Observatory reported from a special source that Assad's visitation was restricted during his treatment in the hospital to only his brother, in addition to the former Secretary-General for Presidential Affairs, Mansour Azzam.
According to the source, Bashar al-Assad suffered a poisoning incident, which was contrived by a party that executed it to embarrass the Russian government and accuse it of eliminating him.
Since the fall of the Syrian regime on December 8, 2024, Bashar al-Assad has not made any public appearances or media engagements, while the Russian authorities have accepted his request for political asylum along with his family.
