Khaberni - The Saudi Ministry of Interior announced today the execution of the death penalty by way of ta'zir against one of the criminals in the Mecca region, after convicting him of smuggling amphetamine tablets into the Kingdom, where the final Sharia ruling was issued against him and was enforced on Wednesday morning.
The Saudi Ministry of Interior issued a statement today regarding the execution of the death penalty by way of ta'zir against one of the criminals in the Mecca region, the text of which is as follows:
Allah Almighty said: (And do not cause corruption upon the earth after its reformation), and said: (And do not seek corruption in the land. Verily, Allah does not like the corruptors), and said: (And Allah does not like corruption), and said: (Indeed, the recompense of those who fight against Allah and His Messenger and seek to spread corruption in the land is death or crucifixion or the amputation of their hands and feet from opposite sides or banishment from the land; that is a disgrace for them in this world, and in the Hereafter, they will have a great punishment).
Z.R., a Jordanian national, smuggled amphetamine tablets into the Kingdom, and by the grace of Allah, the security authorities were able to arrest the mentioned criminal. The investigation led to charging him with the crime, and upon referral to the competent court, a ruling was issued proving what was attributed to him, and ordering his execution by ta'zir. The verdict became final after he appealed and it was then upheld by the Supreme Court, and a royal decree was issued to enforce what had been decided by Sharia law.
The death penalty by ta'zir was carried out against the criminal / Z. R. -Jordanian nationality- on Wednesday 9 / 4 / 1447H corresponding to 1 / 10 / 2025AD in the Mecca region.
