Khaberni - Yarmouk Water Company announced a complete stop of the water pumping system at the Zaatari station on Thursday, due to water leaks and significant damage to the main transmission line with a diameter of 700 mm.
The company apologized to its subscribers in the affected areas within the Al-Ramtha district, which include (Al-Jalmah Al-'Aly and Al-Wati, Al-Kayal, Al-Wahda Street, Al-Sir neighborhood, and Abu Dhlam area), and in Al-Mazar district the affected areas are Arhaba, Samad, Qasr Barqash, Civil Defense Barqash, and the 12th Brigade, and in the Bani Obaid district the affected areas are Al-Husn, the Western Quarter (Um Al-Hawa, Al-Dahiyah Al-Hatamleh area, and the Engineers Housing), and in the Ajloun Governorate, the affected areas are Sakhrat 'Abeen, Ablin, Anjara, and Ishtafina).
The company confirmed that it will resume pumping and return to the usual distribution schedule as soon as possible.
