Khaberni - The Minister of Awqaf, Islamic Affairs and Holy Places, Dr. Mohammad Al-Khalaileh, announced the beginning of preliminary registration for those wishing to perform the Hajj pilgrimage for Jordanians and residents of the Gaza Strip living in the Kingdom, starting from 10 AM on Sunday, October 5, 2025, until 9 PM on Sunday, October 26, 2025, through the electronic Hajj registration platform https://hajj.gov.jo/reg.
Al-Khalaileh urged those wishing to register, who meet the registration criteria, to pay an amount of (200) Jordanian Dinars for the main registrant only, which is refundable after the end of the registration period at a time determined by the Hajj and Umrah Department. Companions of the main registrant are exempted from payment, noting that payment is available through eFAWATEERcom, or by visiting a branch of the Islamic Jordanian Bank or a branch of Safwa Islamic Bank.
To register for this year's Hajj season, it is required that the main registrant be born on or before December 31, 1980, has not previously performed the Hajj pilgrimage, and candidates selected will be asked for a health clearance certificate from the Ministry of Health proving the candidate is free from the following diseases as per the instructions of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia:
* Failure of one of the main organs (heart, lungs, liver, or kidneys).
* Neurological and psychiatric diseases that impair cognition or accompanied by severe mobility disabilities.
* Old age accompanied by dementia.
* Pregnancy in the last two months or high-risk pregnancy in all stages.
* Active cancer requiring chemotherapy, biological or radiation treatment.
* Active contagious diseases that affect public health (such as open tuberculosis "pulmonary tuberculosis").
Regarding those who have savings with the Hajj Fund, Al-Khalaileh clarified that savers who completed an amount of (3,000) Jordanian Dinars in their account before January 1, 2020, should know that the registration of the fund's savers will be through the electronic link ( https://eservices.hajjfund.gov.jo ) and regarding the female saver who wishes to accompany a male guardian, it is required for her registration to be accepted that she has completed an amount of (6,000) Jordanian Dinars for herself and the guardian before January 1, 2020, or that the guardian is also enrolled in the fund and meets the same conditions, where savers of the fund are not required to pay any amount at registration.
