Khaberni - British Michelle Hampstead died from a bite from her dog that led to an arterial rupture in her arm while the dog was fighting another over a chicken nugget from "McDonald's".

According to British media, Hampstead was throwing chicken pieces to her small dog named "Boom," and another dog named "Trig".

While feeding the two dogs in her apartment on July 29 last year, the larger dog "Trig" caught her upper left arm, hitting a major artery as it tried to snatch the piece from the smaller dog.

Lincoln Brooks, a senior investigator, said that "Boom attacked Trig" and the latter "tried to bite him or pounce on him, and this is a large dog with strong jaws."

Hampstead, residing in Southend in Essex county, was taken to the hospital but died the next day at the "Royal London Hospital" due to severe blood loss leading to multiple organ failure.

Her ex-partner Samuel West said at the investigative hearing that Hampstead had bought McDonald's food, adding, "She had a box I think contained 20 chicken pieces".

In a recording captured by an installed camera, Michelle threw a piece of chicken into the air and found herself in the middle of the fight.

The senior death investigator, Lincoln Brooks, recorded the death as an "accidental incident", explaining: "Michelle Hampstead died due to traumatic blood loss from a single bite from her large dog at her home, which led to an arterial rupture. The bite was not aggressive and occurred during a brief fight between the two dogs over food."
