Khaberni - Apple has introduced an innovative feature called "Voice Isolation" for iPhones, which allows users to make clearer calls by reducing surrounding noise and isolating annoying sounds like traffic noise, barking dogs, or construction noises, ensuring the speaker's voice remains clear and audible to the other person without disturbances.
This feature works differently from most traditional phone settings, as it cannot be activated through "Settings" but only appears during ongoing calls via the "Control Center". Once selected, the phone starts filtering out side noises and prioritizes the human voice, according to "tomsguide".
Apple recommends using this feature especially in important calls or business meetings over the phone, as the clarity of the sound helps present the speaker in a professional and more focused manner.
Conversely, it can be turned off when the user wishes to share the surrounding atmosphere with the other party, such as at parties or noisy events.
In addition to "Voice Isolation", iPhone offers other microphone modes, such as the standard mode which transmits all surrounding sounds unmodified, and the "Wide Spectrum" option that amplifies surrounding noise along with the user's voice, which is an exclusive mode for FaceTime calls, and "Automatic" mode, which chooses the optimal setting depending on the nature of the call.
