Khaberni - As decided by the Cabinet in its session held today, Wednesday, chaired by Prime Minister Dr. Jaafar Hassan, the approval was given for the instructions for the delegation of employees in the public sector for the year 2025.
The instructions aim to direct scholarship opportunities towards rare specialties and professional, specialized programs, in line with government priorities and plans, contributing to enhancing the efficiency of the public sector through investment in human resources, qualifying leaderships, and empowering employees to obtain academic and professional qualifications that enhance their readiness for the future.
The instructions stipulate implementing clear procedures that ensure fairness and equal opportunities through governance of the delegation process and establishing its policies by a committee represented by all relevant entities.
It also obligates ministries and government agencies to distribute scholarships to targeted groups and ensure their delivery to all affiliate institutions in various provinces within specified deadlines, alongside proactive planning for scholarship programs according to actual needs.
The instructions also include monitoring the affairs of the delegates and setting controls and mechanisms for handling during their study period, ensuring the transfer of acquired knowledge to achieve the desired impact, and specifying the periods of delegation linked to subsequent service periods that suit the nature of the programs.
