Khaberni - Malik Al-Rashdan, the director of Ajloun Water, expected on Wednesday, the completion of the Kafrein Dam conveyance project at the beginning of next year, which will provide 350 cubic meters per hour and will serve areas in Anjara, Ain Janna, and parts of Al-Qasba.

Al-Rashdan said that currently, areas in Anjara, Ain Janna, and parts of Al-Qasba are supplied with 600 cubic meters per hour. Upon completion of the Kafrein Dam conveyance project, the supply will increase to 950 cubic meters per hour, and the interval will be reduced to 14 days.

Al-Rashdan added that the directorate had tendered the "Al-Ayoun" contract worth 1.4 million dinars to construct lines for the Al-Tanoor/Ba'oun/Ishtafina project and vice versa, explaining that the aim of the project is to enhance the network to reduce water loss and improve water supply.

Al-Rashdan indicated that the directorate had tendered 10 contracts worth 1.1 million dinars this year, financed by the council of the governorate, which included the maintenance and extension of water networks, and maintenance and extension of sewage networks.

Al-Rashdan clarified that the directorate had received 1.1 million dinars from the allocations of the governorate council to implement 10 projects. These include the maintenance of water and sewage networks and the extension of water networks to new areas not previously covered.
