Khaberni - Indonesian authorities confirmed today, Wednesday, the death of 3 people and the injury of about 100 others after the collapse of an Islamic school building.

At least 91 students are still trapped under concrete rubble nearly two days after the collapse of the "Al-Khazini" Islamic boarding school in East Java, as announced by the authorities after reviewing attendance registers and reports from the families of the missing minors.

Reports indicate that most of the missing or those trapped under the rubble are students aged between 12 and 17 years.

The Indonesian National Disaster Management Agency adjusted late Tuesday the number of people likely still trapped under the rubble to 91, after the previously announced figure was only 38.
