Khaberni - In recent hours, the name of the prominent artist Adel Imam returned to the forefront of search engines after a photo attributed to him from inside the Grand Mosque appeared, showing him wearing Ihram clothes and seated in a wheelchair in front of the Kaaba.

The photo spread like wildfire across social media platforms, receiving significant interaction from his fans and admirers. However, a quick investigation revealed that the image was not real, but merely an edit done by one of his fans to gain social media fame.

This isn’t the first time the name of the leader [Adel Imam] has been linked with Hajj or Umrah. He personally recalled in previous discussions a humorous incident that occurred while he was in the Grand Mosque. He mentioned how he was surprised by a fan calling out to him loudly amidst the crowd: "Lughaligho.. Oh Lughaligho I love you so much", referring to a comedic character Imam portrayed in one of his works. He confirmed that this moment was one of the most humorous memories that still linger in his mind.

As for the latest appearance of the leader, it was last month when the writer Akram Al-Saadni posted a photo on his Facebook account featuring him with Adel Imam and his brother, the producer Essam Imam, which received significant interaction from followers. At the same time, Al-Saadni addressed the recurring rumors about Imam contracting Alzheimer’s disease, stating: "I sit with Adel and we talk about the history of art, and those who say he has Alzheimer’s don’t know anything. When his brother or a family member gives him the phone to talk to me, I find him fully alert, and I personally want to record his memories with Abdel Rahman Al-Khamisi."

Regarding his latest artistic work, it was the series "Valentino" that aired a few years ago. It revolves around a businessman managing a chain of schools bearing his name, while his wife Afaf stands as a formidable adversary to him both inside and outside the home, leading to a series of conflicts and situations bearing the comedic style known to Adel Imam.
