Khaberni - Hamas and other Palestinian factions are leaning towards accepting US President Donald Trump's plan to end the war in Gaza, according to multiple sources.
A source close to Hamas told "Sky News Arabia" that "the movement is closer to approving Trump's plan".
"CBS News" reported from an informed source that Hamas is inclined to agree, noting that it may submit its response to the Egyptian and Qatari mediators on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, a Palestinian source told "Sky News Arabia" that Hamas "asked the Qatari mediator for a series of clarifications regarding guarantees against resuming war after Netanyahu receives the Israeli hostages and the timelines for the withdrawal of the Israeli army from the Gaza Strip and the scope of the withdrawal, and guarantees against future targeting of the movement's leaders abroad".
On Tuesday, Trump said: "We are waiting for Hamas's approval of the peace proposals," adding, "Hamas has 3-4 days to respond to the offer, and if it does not, Israel will do what is necessary".
He continued: "If Hamas does not respond to the plan, it will be an unhappy end."
He explained: "What we want is simple: we want the hostages back and we want good behavior from Hamas.. This is simple.. We are seeking peace in the Middle East."
The plan, presented by Trump alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House, consists of 20 items, and includes a swift ceasefire in Gaza, the release of all remaining hostages and a number of Palestinian prisoners in Israel, an increased flow of humanitarian aid, and the transfer of the sector's administration to a temporary authority of Palestinian technocrats overseen by an international "Peace Council" chaired by Trump.
