Khaberni - The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation "Kan" reported that the maritime "Fleet of Steadfastness" trying to break the siege on Gaza Strip is currently approaching the Israeli interception zone in international waters.
According to the official body, the Israeli navy is preparing to intercept the boats participating in the fleet, planning to take control of them and transfer the activists to a single naval ship of the Israeli forces.
The authority confirmed that Israel will not allow the fleet to reach the shores of Gaza, based on directives issued by the political level. These movements come as part of the consistent Israeli policy aimed at preventing any attempts to break the maritime siege imposed on the sector since 2007.
It is noteworthy that the "Fleet of Steadfastness" includes a number of boats carrying humanitarian aid and activists from various nationalities, in a new attempt to break the siege on Gaza Strip after several similar previous attempts.
