Jordan Increasing petrol and diesel prices in October

Khaberni - The pricing committee of oil derivatives convened today, Tuesday, during their monthly meeting to set the local selling prices for oil derivatives for the period from October 1 to 31.

The committee reviewed the global prices of crude oil and its derivatives during the current month of September and compared them with those of the previous month, August, where a slight increase was observed in the global prices of gasoline types (90 and 95) and diesel during the current month of September.

After applying the pricing formula according to the global prices for all oil derivatives, the committee noted an increase in the price of 90 octane gasoline by (5) fils/liter, 95 octane gasoline by (5) fils/liter, and diesel by (10) fils/liter.

Consequently, the pricing committee decided to adjust the selling price of 90 octane gasoline to become (855) fils/liter instead of (850) fils/liter, the selling price of 95 octane gasoline to become (1080) fils/liter instead of (1075) fils/liter, and the selling price of diesel to become (685) fils/liter instead of (675) fils/liter, while continuing to fix the selling price of kerosene at (620) fils/liter and maintaining the selling price of a household gas cylinder (12.5 kg) at (7) dinars/cylinder.

It is worth noting that the average price of Brent crude during the current month of September was about (68) dollars/barrel, compared to its average price in the previous month, August, which was about (68.2) dollars/barrel.
