Khaberni - The family of the late young barber "Ahmad Awkal" invited everyone to attend a tribal truce to acknowledge the crime that claimed their young son's life.
The family invited friends and relatives to gather at the schoolyard of Muslama bin Abdul Malik in Shaker neighborhood, Zarqa city, to receive the delegation.
Last Thursday evening, the young Awkal passed away, succumbing to severe injuries he had sustained after being assaulted at his workplace in Shaker neighborhood, Zarqa Governorate.
The murdered barber, in his thirties, owned a barber shop in Zarqa. He was assaulted by a thug and extortioner, resulting in a torn colon, internal bleeding, and clots on the lungs. He was then transferred to Zarqa Governmental Hospital in critical condition, before he died 16 hours after the incident.
On his part, the public security spokesman said that on the past Wednesday, 24/9/2025, a man in his thirties was rushed to Zarqa Governmental Hospital after being beaten by another individual inside a barber shop in Al-Hussein area, Zarqa Governorate, and was admitted for treatment, only to die on Thursday evening from his injuries.
The spokesman for the public security also stated that the perpetrator was arrested and referred to the judiciary and detained in one of the correction and rehabilitation centers.
