Khaberni - The Mexican Ambassador in Jordan, Jacob Prado Gonzalez, said that he is "very optimistic that the Jordanian team will play at least one match in Mexico," noting that the embassy in Amman will "facilitate everything within its power to ensure that everyone gets visas to be able to visit us."
He added that next year will see Jordan participate in the World Cup, which will be hosted by Mexico, the United States, and Canada, expressing his great hope that Jordan will play one of its matches on Mexican soil.
Gonzalez confirmed that his country would be "very happy to welcome as many Jordanians as possible who will be able to visit Mexico, not just for the World Cup, but also to get to know our country." He noted that the embassy in Amman "will continue to facilitate everything within its power to ensure that everyone gets visas."
The Mexican Ambassador highlighted the importance of the media, saying: "The media is very important, and we want them to cover all the matches that will be held in Mexico," before concluding by affirming: "And you are always welcome to attend."
