Khaberni - China intends to build a series of training camps for humanoid robots in an attempt to enhance the efficiency of these robots and significantly improve their capabilities, according to a report by "Interesting Engineering".
These camps aim to simulate real operating conditions and uses, placing robots in a variety of scenarios related to different tasks such as factory, home, store, and even elderly care center tasks.
The Chinese government plans to deploy these camps in various regions around the country, but the largest camp will be in Beijing, specifically in the Shijingshan area, with expectations that it will be more than 10,000 square meters in size and will generate more than 6 million data points annually.
These centers contribute to generating a large volume of data related to different scenarios, which is then used by robotics companies to improve their artificial intelligence systems.
This method solves one of the biggest problems facing the robotics sector in China, as companies previously needed to train robots separately without a consistent standard for them, in addition to the high cost of training and collecting individual data.
These camps also act as part of China's unified policy for robots, ensuring that all robots receive an equal amount of data and opportunities for better training.
China is striving to become a global power in the humanoid robotics sector, having adopted embodied artificial intelligence or robots that rely on artificial intelligence as one of its strategic industries within the country.
