Khaberni - The name of the former Miss Egypt, Engy Abdullah, topped the social media trends and the "Google" search index, after she reappeared following a significant disappearance; revealing a severe health crisis she suffered over the past years, after being diagnosed with a tumor in the brainstem, and her husband abandoned her during the hardest times of her life.
The beginning with the suffering of the disease
The former Miss Egypt and actress Engy Abdullah, published a lengthy post on her personal social media account "Facebook", in which she revealed her battle with brainstem cancer, which led to her disappearance over the past years; where she wrote in her post: "It's been 6 months trying to get treatment for the second time for a tumor in the brainstem, which is not cancer, it's a benign tumor but located in the most dangerous place in the brain." Engy Abdullah continued: "Unfortunately, all the doctors in Egypt and abroad, professors in the field of oncology and neurology, refused to treat me; because I took all the radiation and chemotherapy sessions allowed to me and for this difficult location in 2019. I thought I was okay, but unfortunately, the symptoms came back much worse than before."
Reemergence of the disease as Engy Abdullah explained the return of her disease; where she said: "I lost sensation on the right side, I have difficulty swallowing, and electricity throughout my body when I make any simple movement; even when I move my eyes, and there are many other things." She continued: "Even I returned to the hospital I had been treated in before, on advice from Dr. Tamer El-Nahhas, who personally refused to treat me, and the hospital asked me to sign a declaration that I am fully responsible for anything that might happen if I am treated. Of course, I left because of fear."

I am just very tired, I have been for a long time, and I pray to God for one thing only, O God, we do not ask you to reverse the decree but we ask your kindness in it." The support and solidarity from her sister She also confirmed receiving support and solidarity from her sister, who suffers from the same disease but in the lung and the brain; where she said: "The person who stands by me and helps me to do the simplest daily things that have become impossible for me to do alone, is my sister who has a stage IV tumor in the lung and brain, and I thought I was the one who would take care of her." Adding: "My condition gets delayed every now and then, and this time I saw things hard for me even to describe, and I am content with God's tough decree for me and my sister, but life is really hard and its surprises are tougher. Pray for me."
The shock of abandonment
She also revealed the abandonment by her husband, despite suffering from the disease; indicating that he did not support her nor stand by her; instead, he shocked her by marrying another woman, which she discovered accidentally. And she wrote that through another post on her "Facebook" page saying: "I have been separated since 2018, and my first treatment journey in 2019 was with my family only." She continued: "He wasn't with me, we got divorced after I discovered the disease. During my treatment journey, he was not present, and he refused to help me, and he married another woman before we completed a year of divorce and had a big wedding, and I discovered this from wedding photos that I saw by chance on Facebook shared by mutual friends."
Who is Engy Abdullah? Engy Abdullah is an Egyptian actress who won the title of Miss Egypt in 1999, and then moved into the field of acting; where she began her artistic life with the movie "Badr" in 2001 alongside "Kung Fu" hero Youssef Mansour, and she was nominated for the role based on her winning the Miss Egypt contest, followed by several other works.
