Khaberni - Gold prices in the local market rose on Tuesday, continuing to record new record numbers, reaching their highest level ever in the history of Jordan.
According to the second pricing issued by the General Union of Owners of Jewelry and Jewelry Trade Shops, gold prices increased by 0.90 dinars per gram, bringing the selling price of 21-karat gold –the most sought after by citizens– to 78.90 dinars for selling purposes from jewelers, compared to 75.60 dinars for buying purposes.
The selling prices of one gram of gold for 24, 18, and 14 karat also increased for buying purposes from jewelers, reaching 90.40, 69.90, and 53.0 dinars respectively.
