Khaberni - The retired Egyptian artist, Shams El Baroudi, recalled the details of the love story that united her with her late husband, the esteemed artist Hassan Youssef, describing it as "an epic of love that lasted more than half a century."
El Baroudi stated through her Facebook account: "The relationship with my husband was like a divine symphony arranged by the Creator to unite two souls that lived on love, sacrifice, and loyalty. She confirmed that she lived under his care, a life filled with security and happiness, and that his care and attention made her see him as her world."
She added that the film "Journey of Love" was the starting point for their marriage story, noting that she initially refused to participate in it, but the fates of life pushed her to accept, leading to a relationship that turned into a marriage that lasted for decades.
In her message, she continued: "My beloved, how you changed my perception of life, how you convinced my rebellion that your love is life, and how you managed to gather the fragments of my mind with your sincere words," confirming that God preserved their relationship with this glow, so that the love between them would remain fervent through the years.
El Baroudi sent an emotional message to her late husband saying that she awaits their eternal reunion as he promised her, describing him as the "love of her life and her companion whose like will never be repeated."
It is noted that artist Hassan Youssef passed away on October 29 (October) last year at the age of 90, after an artistic career full of achievements, while his wife Shams El Baroudi continues to share their memories together through pictures and archival clips.
