Khaberni - Captain Mahdi Al-Hamoud from the Highway Patrol stated that during the past 24 hours, a vehicular rollover accident on the Desert Highway occurred, resulting in the death of the driver upon his arrival at the medical center, and caused an obstruction in the right lane.
He added, during the traffic report on the Public Security Radio, that a collision between two vehicles on the Developmental Corridor Road, near the Muwaqqar Bridge, was handled, resulting in 7 medium injuries.
Additionally, an incident was handled on the Azraq-Amman road involving a truck deviating from the main road strip, without injuries.
An accident involving three vehicles on the Airport Road was also handled, without injuries, but it caused an obstruction in the traffic flow.
He noted that very high speeds were detected on the Azraq-Zarqa road reaching up to 214 km/h, and another vehicle reached a speed of 190 km/h.
Moreover, Lieutenant 1 Doaa Al-Habahbeh mentioned that this Tuesday morning, a breakdown of heavy machinery before "Jet", near the Workshops Roundabout, caused a traffic crisis, and necessary actions were taken to remove the machinery from the site.
Regarding yesterday, the traffic units dealt with a case of a woman in a coma inside her vehicle beneath Al-Dhaher Bridge. First aid was provided at the scene, and coordination with the operations room facilitated the arrival of Civil Defense groups to the site and her transfer to the hospital in a moderate condition.
Al-Habahbeh pointed out that yesterday, the traffic units dealt with a collision involving five vehicles in Shmeisani, resulting in one moderate injury and material damage to the vehicles. The cause of the accident was attributed to exceeding the speed limit in residential areas and unexpectedly changing lanes by one of the vehicles.
