Khaberni - The completion rate in the projects of Ajloun Public Works Directorate, from the allocations of the Provincial Council, is 90%, according to Ajloun Public Works Director Rehab Al-Atoum.
Al-Atoum said that the projects being implemented by the directorate include maintenance, construction, and paving works, as well as tenders for traffic safety and paving agricultural roads, at a cost amounting to 1.4 million dinars, besides constructing and rehabilitating Wadi Al-Tawaheen road at a cost of 1.5 million dinars within a central tender.
Al-Atoum added that the directorate has completed the emergency plan in preparation for the winter season, which included cleaning culverts and water channels, renting machinery on-demand, and forming 9 emergency teams distributed across locations that typically experience heavy rainfall and snowfall.
Al-Atoum pointed out the availability of two suction pumps for use in case of water accumulation, in addition to pruning trees and branches in coordination with the Ajloun Directorate of Agriculture, clarifying that the issue of rainwater accumulation in the Abin triangle has been resolved.
Al-Atoum indicated that one million dinars have been allocated from the allocations of the Provincial Council for next year, to execute road maintenance projects, agricultural roads, and tenders for traffic safety.
