Khaberni - "World-renowned star Nicole Kidman has separated from her husband, musician Keith Urban, after a 19-year marriage, as confirmed by Page Six in the New York Post."
A source told Page Six on Monday: "Sometimes, relationships simply run their course," adding that Kidman "did not want the split and had been trying to save things."
Multiple sources for TMZ, which was first to break the news, stated that the actress and the country music singer had been living separately "since the start of the summer."
The site reported that Kidman (58 years old) was looking after their two daughters: Sunday Rose (17 years old) and Faith Margaret (14 years old).
A source stated: "Kidman is keeping the family together during this difficult time since Keith's absence," referring to his current music tour.
It is alleged that Urban (57 years old) left the family home in Nashville, Tennessee, and bought a property for himself in the same city. It was not immediately clear whether the former couple planned to divorce.
Urban made headlines last June after he abruptly ended an interview via Zoom when asked about his feelings regarding Kidman filming romantic, intimate scenes with Zac Efron in their 2024 Netflix film, "A Family Affair."
The interviewer then asked: "What does Keith Urban think when he sees his beautiful wife with younger, handsome men like Zac Efron in those wonderful emotional scenes on TV?" The answer was met with silence from the other side until the producers confirmed that Urban had ended the call.
The star of "Big Little Lies" married Urban on June 25, 2006, about a year after their first meeting at the G’Day USA event in January 2005.
Kidman was previously married to actor Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001. Kidman and Cruise, the star of "Mission: Impossible," have two children: Bella (32 years old) and Connor (30 years old).
The star of the film "Baby Girl" has spoken openly about family tensions resulting from her older children's decision to follow their father's footsteps by joining the Church of Scientology. She told Who magazine in 2018: "They are able to make their own decisions. They chose to be Scientologists, and as a mother, my job is to love them."
As of now, representatives for Kidman and Urban have not immediately responded to Page Six's requests for comment.
