Khaberni - Hebrew sources reported that the occupation army announced the highest state of alert in Gaza, following a series of attacks carried out by the Al-Qassam Brigades and resistance factions targeting Zionist military sites, resulting in the death of several occupation soldiers and injuring others.
According to "Yedioth Ahronoth" newspaper, Al-Qassam fighters launched a new attack on a military site inside Gaza, after a previous extensive operation targeting a site belonging to the "Kfir" Brigade, resulting in 5 officers and soldiers suffering serious injuries due to explosions and gunfire.
The sources added that the Israeli forces at those sites are still on high alert, in anticipation of further attacks.
The field escalation coincided with the meeting that brought together Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump in Washington.
In this context, Israeli media reported on a widespread Qassam attack in the Al-Nasr neighborhood north of Gaza City, involving the launch of an anti-tank missile at an infiltrating Israeli force, resulting in injuries described as serious.
Military helicopters evacuated wounded soldiers of the Israeli army to three main hospitals inside Israel, while a Hebrew channel reported that the ambush of the Israeli forces resulted in about 13 soldiers killed and injured.
Meanwhile, "Hadashot 301" network mentioned that the confrontations in the Al-Nasr neighborhood were "face to face" with Palestinian resistance fighters, describing them as "massive and very violent," amid continuous clashes until late hours.
This escalation comes while U.S. President Donald Trump announced a new proposal to end the war, noting he received "very positive responses" from Israel and several Arab leaders, yet concerns remain about the failure of any possible settlement in light of the ongoing Israeli obstinance.
