Khaberni - The 27th edition of the Dubai Water, Energy and Environment Technology Exhibition "WETEX", organized by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority starts tomorrow and runs until October 2nd at the Dubai World Trade Center.
This comes under the directives of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and with the patronage of Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy.
"WETEX" is one of the largest specialized exhibitions in the world and the largest exhibition in the region in the sectors of energy, renewable energy, water, green development, sustainability, carbon removal, green mobility, green hydrogen, sustainable cities, green buildings, digital transformation, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and related sectors.
During the exhibition, 3100 companies from 68 countries will showcase their latest technologies, innovations, and projects. The event includes 18 international pavilions from around the world and spans an area of 95,000 square meters.
This year's edition of "WETEX" includes a green mobility area, a health and safety area, and a delegation area designed to enhance communication and collaboration between local and international companies participating in the exhibition on the one hand and major governmental bodies in the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries on the other.
The exhibition will witness numerous meetings between companies, governmental and private institutions, and investors through the "B2B" business meeting service and the "B2G" meetings service between companies and governmental bodies.
Alongside the exhibition, the Authority organizes more than 135 specialized seminars and discussion panels with the participation of experts and specialists from around the world.
The Authority also provides exhibitors with the opportunity to visit the Authority's Center for Sustainability and Innovation, located within the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Energy Complex.
