After His Dispute with Musk Zuckerberg and Altman Try to Get Closer to Trump

Khaberni - Both Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of "Meta", and Sam Altman, CEO of "Open AI", are attempting to get closer to US President Donald Trump and fill the void left by Elon Musk's disappearance from the White House, which - according to a report published by Financial Times - has raised suspicions among a number of White House officials.

The report clearly indicates that Altman and Zuckerberg's approach to the Trump administration is no coincidence, but rather the result of continuous and successful planning, according to several sources inside the White House and the two companies.

While Trump and Elon Musk have not met since the latter left Washington in May, Zuckerberg and Altman have traveled to the US capital about 6 times this year, in addition to their public attempts to praise various decisions of the Trump administration.

This rapprochement seems to represent a symbiotic relationship for all involved, as on one hand, Zuckerberg and Altman exploit the White House to expand their business endeavors and clear bureaucratic hurdles.

On the other side, Trump boasts his new allies in front of the TV cameras, particularly since they are eager to meet all his demands and win his approval, and this was evidently clear at the dinner of tech company leaders at the beginning of September.

Moreover, the Trump administration greatly benefited from "Meta" and "Open AI" spending on artificial intelligence technologies and data centers, with one source close to the Trump administration describing this investment as a savior for the American economy, adding: "If investment in artificial intelligence were to leave the economy, we would be in a very bad position."

The Trump administration also leveraged the proximity of major tech companies to strengthen its superiority over China in artificial intelligence technologies, and allowed both companies’ technologies to be used by the American military, as stated in previous reports.

Nevertheless, Zuckerberg and Altman have not been able to achieve the same level of influence that Elon Musk enjoyed during his time in the White House, leading one close to the Trump administration to describe the relationship between tech company leaders and Trump as more of a "marriage of convenience".
