Khaberni - Security forces in Qena, Upper Egypt, managed early Monday morning to eliminate one of the most wanted criminal elements, known in the media as "Saddam", after an exciting chase and exchange of gunfire in Al-Hujairat village, which he had been using as a hideout.

This decisive security action comes after the accused's actions caused widespread anger on social media platforms, and public demands for his swift arrest and justice.

Chase at his last stronghold
The security operation commenced following precise intelligence information that the dangerous criminal Saddam Muhammad An-Naqr (30 years old), wanted in more than 60 criminal cases, was present in Al-Hujairat village, fleeing from a series of raids conducted by the security forces targeting places he frequented.

Immediately, a security force moved to the village, and upon seeing the forces, the accused initiated heavy gunfire, prompting the forces to respond in kind. The exchange of fire resulted in his death after an exciting chase within the village.

"Souq Abu Diab" incident ignites anger
The name "Saddam" recently dominated the scene after a circulating video showed him storming the market of the village "Abu Diab" in Dashna center, demanding that the locals and vendors leave the market under threat of arms.

The situation escalated when a young man objected to his threats, causing "Saddam" to fire shots into the air to terrify him, causing a state of panic and widespread anger. The spread of the video led to angry reactions demanding the Ministry of Interior to act quickly to end his threat to public security.
