Khaberni - The "iOS 26" system came with a collection of diverse changes on "Apple" devices, starting from the new interface to some new features in phones.
However, the new system has been met with very mixed reactions, as some were unhappy with the new changes in the system, which make the mechanism of using the phone very different from what they were used to.
Among these differences, comes the screenshot tool and the "Safari" browser which received a new interface, but there are secret tricks that restore the use of these apps to their previous default state.
Enhanced Screenshot Tool
"Apple" has significantly changed the interface of the screenshot tool compared to previous years, as the company has greatly improved the interface and added features like search and direct selection inside the screen.
But this change did not please some users who preferred the screenshot tool to remain as it was, because the saving mechanism was much faster than now.
Previously, the default was to save the image immediately after capturing, and you were able to click on the thumbnail that appeared at the bottom of the screen to edit or even delete the images.
But now, the situation has shifted to immediately transitioning to a screenshot editing tool, and now you need to click on more options to save the screenshot.
There are two tricks that help you return to the old mode and benefit from it; the first trick depends on dragging up from the bottom of the screen to save a full screenshot.
You can return to the old mechanism for taking a screenshot, by going directly to the settings menu then selecting general settings then screenshot, then disable the "full screen preview" feature.
Multiple "Safari" Windows
The new simplified interface in the "Safari" browser has confused users, as "Apple" changed the mechanism of switching between different windows within the browser.
The new difference comes due to the new simplified interface, as it has become simpler and does not include many moving parts and components that may cause noise and confusion for the user.
You can access the list of all different windows inside "Safari" by dragging up from the top of the page link, which opens all the available windows in the system.
You can also return to the old interface by going to the settings then the application menu then "Safari," and after that, you select the windows section.
Inside the windows section, you choose the interface you prefer, and instead of choosing the compact mode (Compact), head to the previous option that displays a full address bar at the bottom.
This option restores the old interface used in the "Safari" browser if you prefer that, and you can revert to the older interface used several years ago by choosing to place the address bar at the top.
