Amman Arab University honors outstanding high school students in Ain AlBasha district and AlBaqaa camp

Khaberni - In furtherance of cooperation bridges with the local community and under the sponsorship of the President of the Board of Trustees of Amman Arab University, Dr. Omar Mashhour Haditha Al-Jazi, the university organized a celebration to honor outstanding high school students in Ain Al-Basha district and Al-Baqaa camp. The event was attended by Dr. Hussam Al-Hamd, Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance, representing Dr. Mohammad Al-Widian, President of the university, along with several college deans, administrative unit managers, local dignitaries, a crowd of the students' families, and was coordinated by Dr. Basma Abu Jaber from the Office of Practical Education, Creativity, and Community Service at Amman Arab University.
Dr. Al-Jazi stated that organizing this celebration and honoring the top students in high school reflects Amman Arab University's deep interest in the younger generation and its continuous effort to promote the values of excellence and distinction among our student children. Today, we are not only celebrating success but also the ongoing efforts made by the dedicated teachers in your schools and dear parents who have been a support and backing for you at every stage of your education. He added that this honor is a motivational message for our children to continue giving and striving in their educational journey, and to maintain the spirit of perseverance and ambition, to be able to contribute effectively in building a prosperous future for Jordan with pride and dignity, and hereby we all affirm that academic excellence and diligence are not merely personal goals, but a responsibility towards the nation and society and are the path to building a conscious and distinguished generation capable of facing challenges and contributing to the upliftment of society.
In turn, Dr. Al-Hamd stated that Amman Arab University, by celebrating you today, embodies one of the aspects of its social responsibility towards the nation's children, confirming its ongoing commitment to extending cooperation bridges with the local community across its various sectors and institutions, and offering its academic and social expertise for the service of the nation and its children. He noted that Amman Arab University is always keen to enhance partnership with the local community in all government and private sectors and to provide services with all its capabilities at both the academic and social levels, showcasing its distinctive role in providing educational opportunities to all community members in general and to the residents of this surrounding area in particular by offering unique specialties at the bachelor's, master's, and postgraduate diploma levels.
Furthermore, Professor Khawla Saadah, a member of the Advisory Council of the College of Educational and Psychological Sciences at Amman Arab University, expressed her pride in what the university offers to the local community and to the camp's children in terms of discounts and numerous privileges, which she described as a beacon of knowledge and a distinguished national educational institution. The ceremony included several speeches by dignitaries of Ain Al-Basha district and Al-Baqaa area, in which they expressed their pride and gratitude to Amman Arab University for this annual initiative undertaken by the university, and congratulated the students on the fruits of their efforts achieving excellence and success in their high school diploma.
Mr. Walid Abdul Rahman, head of the Al-Baqaa Camp Services Committee, welcomed the attendees, expressing his pride in this annual initiative persistently organized by Amman Arab University, which reflects its continuous commitment to supporting the local community and addressing its issues. He confirmed that these efforts have a tangible positive impact on the lives of the camp's residents through providing academic and social support, and fostering values of cooperation and mutual aid between higher education institutions and the society.
In conclusion, the patron of the event honored the high school students by presenting them with special appreciation gifts, expressing his appreciation for their distinguished achievements and efforts during their academic journey, reaffirming the importance of supporting students and encouraging them to continue achieving academic excellence.
