Khaberni - Media reports have revealed that Manchester United continues its search for a new manager to lead the team and bring it back to the podiums.

Manchester Evening News reported that Zinedine Zidane has returned to the circle of nominations for the English club, indicating that he could be a candidate for a new position in the near future.

It added: "Speculations about the future of the Portuguese coach Ruben Amorim with Manchester United have increased, at a time when the name of the Frenchman Zinedine Zidane has returned to the circle of candidates to succeed him, although his strongest shares remain with the French national team."

It continued: "Manchester United's management includes Zidane in the list of candidates in case Amorim is dismissed following another disappointing result at the end of this week, after the 1-3 loss to Brentford on Saturday."

The reports also pointed to Andoni Iraola, coach of Bournemouth, Oliver Glasner, coach of Crystal Palace, and Gareth Southgate, being among the list of names that the club owners (Ineos Group) are considering if Amorim is let go.

However, Zidane, whose name was previously linked with a move to Manchester, remains an interesting option.

The report indicates that there are already negotiations or preliminary movements that may precede his offer in the coaching market, although details have not yet been disclosed about the club or the role he may be tasked with.
