Khaberni - The Internal Security Command in Daraa province announced the arrest of the criminal Alaa Ghassab Al-Soudi, nicknamed "Jobar Sniper", following a detailed monitoring and tracking operation that resulted in his arrest and referral to the relevant authorities.
Al-Soudi is considered one of the most wanted for his involvement in committing serious crimes against civilians during Bashar al-Assad's regime. Investigations revealed his participation in battles in the Jobar neighborhood of Damascus, in addition to several battles within Daraa province, the latest being the battle of Tafas city, which resulted in injuries and the amputation of his hand.
The investigations also revealed his involvement in acts of mutilating the bodies of victims, boasting about possessing various weapons, and documenting this with photos that were circulated at the time.
The Internal Security Command in Daraa province confirmed that efforts continue to pursue all those involved in criminal activities and to take the necessary legal measures against them in order to achieve justice and enhance community security.
