Khaberni - Jordan concluded its participation in the Top Resa international tourism exhibition, which was recently held in the French capital, Paris, with extensive participation from the public and private sectors.

The Jordanian participation included the presence of the Jordanian Ambassador in France at the Jordanian pavilion, and the participation of 16 tourism and travel offices, in addition to Royal Jordanian and the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, where various professional meetings were held that resulted in positive indicators for the coming period in terms of attracting French and European tourism to the Kingdom.

Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Dr. Imad Hijazin affirmed that Jordan's participation in this global tourism event is part of the Kingdom's strategy aimed at having an effective presence in the most important exhibitions and international markets, which contributes to raising awareness of the Jordanian tourism product and enhancing its global competitiveness.

Hijazin added that the Jordanian pavilion at the exhibition represented an important window to promote various tourist destinations in the Kingdom, starting from historical and archaeological sites, reaching up to modern and environmental tourism projects, emphasizing that this participation reflects Jordan's commitment to openness to the European and international markets and working to attract more tourists, which supports the national economy and creates new job opportunities.

Dr. Abdul Razzaq Arabiyat, the General Manager of the Jordan Tourism Board, stated in a press release that the "Top Resa" international French travel market exhibition is one of the most important tourism exhibitions in France and Europe, and represents a significant opportunity to stimulate inbound tourism from the French market and establish fruitful partnerships between Jordanian tourism and travel offices and their French counterparts.

He confirmed the security, stability, and diversity of Jordanian tourism, and its distinguished tourism product despite the global conditions that have affected the sector in recent years, including the COVID-19 pandemic.

He explained that Jordan’s participation in this exhibition is part of the national efforts to enhance the tourism sector and acquaint the world with the natural, heritage, and historical assets of the Kingdom. He stated: "We are proud of our participation in the 'Top Resa' exhibition, which is an excellent opportunity to showcase what Jordan offers in terms of unique tourism experiences. Through this participation, we aim to enhance communication with global tourism industry partners and open new horizons for cooperation and investment in the sector."

Arabiyat indicated that Jordan's participation in Top Resa is a strategic step towards enhancing the Kingdom's position as a leading tourist destination regionally and internationally, and reaffirms its commitment to developing sustainable tourism that contributes to economic growth and improves the quality of life for citizens.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, a series of meetings and seminars were organized with the participation of experts in the tourism field, to discuss the latest trends and challenges facing the sector globally, providing an opportunity for exchanging knowledge and expertise among the various participants.

The Jordanian participation concluded amid wide acclaim from attendees and participants, as the Jordanian pavilion presented a positive image of the Kingdom, and opened new avenues for cooperation with the French and European market, enhancing Jordan's position on the global tourism map.
