Nokia Plans to Collaborate with a New Manufacturer to Revive Its Phones

Khaberni -"Nokia" and "HMD Global" began their separation last year, which included removing Nokia phones from the "hmd" website and replacing most of them with similar models branded "HMD".

However, the "Nokia" trademark might remain in the phone world if the Finnish company finds another partner, according to a report published by "gsmarena" and reviewed by "Al Arabiya Business".

In the "Nokia" subreddit on the platform "Reddit", one of the Nokia community managers posted that the company is open to collaborating with a "large mobile phone manufacturer".

Of course, the words of an account manager on social media are not of great value, and "Reddit" is not the ideal place to find an original smartphone manufacturer.

"Nokia" has licensed its trademark in several different sectors - TVs from "Streamview", headphones from "RichGo" (and other smartphone accessories), and laptops from "OFF Global".

As indicated by the use of the past tense, these trademark deals have also ended.

Things are not going well for HMD, which recently announced that it would scale down its operations in the United States.

"Nokia" itself had to fend off rumors of problems - last year, there were reports that "Samsung" was looking to acquire Nokia's network business.

But the Finns were quick to deny these rumors, and we haven't heard anything about them since then.

In the first quarter, "Nokia" announced an operating profit of 156 million euros from net sales of 4.39 billion euros.
