Khaberni -Lebanese Cyrine Abdelnour expressed her strong displeasure with the widespread global reaction to the video clip featuring the CEO of "Astronomer", Andy Byron, hugging the company’s human resources officer, Christine Cabot, during a Coldplay concert.

Abdelnour questioned the reasons behind the excessive preoccupation with "personal scandals" at a time when Gaza is experiencing famine and suffocating human suffering.

Abdelnour posted on X a comment on a post written by someone else, saying: "Imagine that the world is preoccupied with these two people, while two million people are starving to death in Gaza and no one asks about them!"

Abdelnour sharply replied: "Because the world thrives on news of marital infidelity, if they were dying from betrayal of countries, betrayal of humanity, and betrayal of conscience... If they stopped accusing each other every time a voice rises screaming the truth!"

Cyrine Abdelnour's remarks were in response to the commotion caused by a video clip captured during a music concert held at the "Gillette" Stadium in Massachusetts, USA, as part of a Coldplay tour, showing an awkward hug incident involving Andy Byron and Christine Cabot, as the camera roamed to capture romantic moments of the attendees, known as "Kiss Cam".

The video, which has garnered tens of millions of views on the "TikTok" app, showed the two trying to retreat and withdraw from the camera as soon as they appeared on the giant screen, in a scene that provoked laughter, followed by a humorous comment from the band's singer, Chris Martin, who said: "Either they are in a secret relationship, or they are very shy."
