Khaberni -The death toll from the crash of a Bangladeshi fighter plane in a school in the capital Dhaka has risen to at least 27, according to a government official on Tuesday.
The special assistant to the senior advisor of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Sayed Rahman, said that so far, the toll is 27 dead, including 25 children and one pilot.
An official from the Bangladesh Fire Service indicated that the individuals died due to the crash of a training aircraft belonging to the air force in an educational complex comprising a college and a school in the capital Dhaka, on Monday.
This incident comes more than a month after a plane belonging to Indian airline Air India crashed over a medical college hostel in the neighboring Indian city of Ahmedabad, killing 241 out of 242 passengers on board and 19 people on the ground, in the worst aviation disaster in the world in a decade.
