Khaberni -Al-Wehdat Club announced its commitment to a new media protocol, completely avoiding any media provocations or engaging in disputes that do not serve the noble sportsmanship, in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions our people in Gaza are experiencing.
The latest posts of Al-Wehdat Club have taken on a somber tone.
This was stated in a statement by the club today, Monday, and the following is its text:
In light of the difficult humanitarian conditions our people in Gaza are going through, the media center of Al-Wehdat Club has decided to commit to a new media protocol at this critical stage by completely abstaining from fabricating any media provocations or engaging in disputes that do not serve the noble message of sportsmanship.
Out of respect for the feelings of our people in Gaza, and what they are enduring of severe humanitarian suffering, the media coverage during this game will be limited only to the news and official events, without covering any unofficial activities.
We at Al-Wehdat Club believe that sports have a moral and social role, and we stand with a living conscience with our people in Palestine, asking Allah to relieve them of this affliction.
We ask our esteemed audience to understand this approach, and we call on everyone to pray and support in all possible ways.
Media Center Director, Abdul Rahman Juma.
