Expulsion of three singers from the Egyptian Musicians Syndicate

Khaberni -The head of the Egyptian Musical Professions, artist Mostafa Kamel, announced the implementation of final expulsion decisions for three members of the vocal performance division after monitoring documented violations in recorded videos, confirming that the syndicate secretly followed the concerts in Cairo and the North Coast to control any transgressions.

The head clarified in an official statement issued through his verified Facebook page that the offenders breached previous commitments to remove old videos before he took office and to prevent their re-presentation, which led the syndicate to drop their memberships completely without disclosing their names so as not to achieve undeserved fame.

Mostafa Kamel confirmed in his statement that the syndicate has referred new lists of names not including members and non-permit holders to the General Administration of Artistic Works for immediate legal action, with the legal administration of the syndicate tasked with drafting reports against any transgression in all governorates.

In a message he considered a warning, the head announced the beginning of extensive investigations with individuals mentioned in recent videos, in preparation for applying major financial fines and additional membership expulsions for those proven involved.

On another note, Mostafa Kamel issued an official letter to the Ministry of Tourism and the Chamber of Tourist Establishments demanding the cessation of dealings with venues promoting what he described as "artistic decline", emphasizing that the syndicate will not allow any violation that affects professional values.
He mentioned that the syndicate chose to hold a symbolic condolence for the young artist who passed away, Ahmed Amer, in a humanitarian gesture to honor those who comply and urge others to review their professional conduct.

Mostafa Kamel concluded his message by affirming that the syndicate is experiencing a period of administrative stability under capable men, indicating that he will continue to perform his national role in protecting the profession without fear of any pressure, stating that the position does not add to those who occupy it silently and cowardly, explaining that his role is to serve Egyptian art and the middle class he belongs to.
