Khaberni -The office of the Israeli Prime Minister said on Sunday that Benjamin Netanyahu is recovering from a bout of food poisoning and added that he will continue to perform his duties during his rest period at home over the next three days.
A statement said that Netanyahu (75 years old) felt unwell overnight and it turned out he was suffering from intestinal inflammation and dehydration and is receiving intravenous fluids to recover from that.
His office mentioned, "According to the doctors' instructions, the Prime Minister will rest at his home for the next three days and will manage state affairs from there."
Netanyahu underwent the installation of a pacemaker in 2023, and had prostate surgery last December after being diagnosed with a urinary tract infection.
