Khaberni -Karak – Amman service drivers carried out a general strike this morning in protest against what they described as an unjust decision by the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, following the operation of public transport buses by the Integrated Multi-Mode Transport Company between Amman and Karak since the beginning of July.
The drivers explained that the decision did not include the service vehicles, although they are regulated by the transport authority, which caused them to be out of work in favor of the new buses that depart every half hour.
The drivers asked for urgent consideration of their demands and opening serious dialogue with the Authority to find a solution that is fair to them and ensures the continuity of their work.
