Khaberni -The latest weather forecasts from Arab Weather indicate that daytime temperatures today will remain around 2-3 degrees above average amidst relatively hot conditions across most regions, and hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, Aqaba, and desert areas with moderate northwesterly winds, which will become stronger in the afternoon.
During the evening and night, the weather is expected to be generally mild, with moderate northwesterly winds.
Meteorologists at Arab Weather say that the latest meteorological data indicates a slight rise in temperatures on Friday followed by a slight decrease on Saturday and Sunday, while maintaining typical summery to relatively hot weather across different regions.
Will temperatures in Amman reach 40 degrees Celsius next week?
The weather maps are showing indicators of increased influence on the kingdom starting from next Monday, July 21, 2025, and throughout the week due to the hot air mass located to the south and east of the kingdom, along with predictions of the upper high extending further towards the region.
Therefore, it is expected, God willing, that temperatures will rise further on Monday, becoming higher than the general averages by 4-6 degrees, and turning the weather hot across all areas and extremely hot in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba. The expected maximum temperature on Monday is 38 degrees Celsius in the capital Amman, with no indications of reaching the 40-degree mark in the capital, while temperatures will exceed 40 degrees Celsius in the Jordan Valley, Aqaba, and Dead Sea amidst extremely hot conditions expected.
Specialists at Arab Weather say that initial indicators track the continued influence of the hot mass on the kingdom from Tuesday until the end of next week, without it deepening sufficiently to evolve the weather system into a heatwave, with the next week’s weather likely to be the hottest since the start of summer according to the latest forecasts.
Specialists confirm that weather predictions for the coming week will remain variable due to the relatively distant time period exceeding 5 days, hence we advise you to keep up with the weather forecasts regularly and track the temperature details through the Arab Weather app.
