Khaberni -The Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army, evacuated today, Wednesday, the seventh batch of sick children from the Gaza Strip, which included 35 children accompanied by 72 relatives, to receive treatment in Jordanian hospitals, within the "Jordanian Medical Corridor" initiative, implemented in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization.
This batch is the largest in terms of the number of patients who have been evacuated since the initiative began in March last year under royal directives, bringing the total number to 112 children, accompanied by 241 relatives.
The medical evacuation process was conducted with the highest levels of coordination and medical care, as the patients and their companions were transported by land via the King Hussein Bridge under strict procedures and under the supervision of specialized teams.
The Armed Forces continue, in cooperation with the relevant authorities, their efforts to evacuate more sick children from the Gaza Strip, despite various logistical and technical challenges that face the evacuation operations.
