Khaberni -The Secretary General of the Ministry of Transport, Fares Abu Dayyeh, discussed with the Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications of Palestine, Mohammed Hamdan, ways to enhance cooperation in the field of land transportation between Jordan and Palestine and to overcome any obstacles that may affect the flow of passengers and goods between the two countries.
During a meeting held at the Ministry of Transport in Amman, attended by the Director General of the Land Transport Regulatory Authority, Riyadh Al-Kharabsheh, Abu Dayyeh confirmed that the ministry provides all necessary facilitations to support the Palestinians, especially regarding the movement of travelers through the King Hussein Bridge, pointing out the importance of exchanging experiences and implementing joint training programs that contribute to the development of the land transport system.
For his part, Hamdan emphasized that cooperation with Jordan is a fundamental pillar in developing the Palestinian transport sector, appreciating the efforts of the Jordanian Ministry of Transport and the Land Transport Regulatory Authority in supporting the Palestinians, and pushing towards practical solutions that ensure the smooth movement of individuals and goods and enhance the level of integration between the two sides.
Moreover, Al-Kharabsheh pointed out the commitment of the authority to enhance and sustain the movement of passengers and goods, working with the Palestinian side to facilitate procedures and continue joint development, which serves the public interest and contributes to improving the efficiency of the sector.
