Khaberni -The Jerash Water Directorate has begun the expansion of Faisal Nursery wells and a desalination station, where they started the infrastructure work and the establishment of foundations on which the new desalination stations will be installed, according to the director of Jerash Water, Marwan Al-Ayasra, on Wednesday.
Al-Ayasra told "Al Mamlaka" that the directorate is waiting for the arrival of the necessary materials, explaining that the installation of the materials will begin in the middle of next month to increase the productivity of Faisal's wells from 350 cubic meters per hour to 450 cubic meters per hour in the first phase.
Al-Ayasra added that in the second phase, the production capacity of Faisal Nursery wells will be increased to 550 cubic meters per hour to improve water supply within the province.
He explained that work is underway to rehabilitate two wells with a production capacity of 100 cubic meters per hour to improve the water situation.
Al-Ayasra mentioned that work is ongoing (document preparation stage) on renting a well with a production capacity of 50 cubic meters per hour.
